My Dragon Collection

This is the largest dragon in my collection. It reclines on a bed of (plastic) quartz crystals, observing its youngling's orb and draping a wing overtop to protect it. Everyone knows dragons hatch from mystical orbs, which they then eat for initial nutrients. Mystical orbs are high in phosphorus. Perchance. The inside of the orb has some snowglobe glitter in it too!

This is not actually a dragon on its own, but a little notebook emblazoned with a glittery dragon facsimile. The paper is actually real, but I haven't marked anything on the pages.

These three are part of a set of pub-going dragons! The green one originally had a dartboard and a dromaeosaur toe claw, but I unfortunately dropped him, which resulted in these breaking off and never being found again :(. The bouncer dragon and frat brother dragon are still in perfect condition, though!

This dragon clings to a prism protectively. The piece itself is actually a christmas ornament that I display on my dragon shelf year-round. I think I still have his box somewhere?

This dragon is the most special in my collection! My mother made it for me for my 16th birthday cake as a cake topper. He's marbled just like the cake was, and he had a wizard and a few gnomes for friends up on that confectionary land. He was also a casualty of the 'dropping and breaking' incident that happened to my dartboard dragon, so his tail is gone. Hence, he remains up safe on the shelf instead of closer to surfaces I actually use.

Yes, yes, I know these plastic things clog up artist and vendor shows with cheaply made, random crap. To be fair, all of these guys were gifts. I think I am giving them a better home displayed among those of their species, rather than being fiddled with for like, twenty minutes before being discarded by a bored child returning to their snot-covered ipad. Oh, and the left adult dragon is holographic.

This guy is a huge faker. Not only is he NOT a dragon-type, but he's not even made of real legos! Still, he has wormed his way into my heart, despite his farces and the pandering his digital cousin receives. Plus, isn't that fire effect sick??

And, last but not least, this dragon brooch! He is both vibrantly colored and fancifully bedazzled, if a little hard to properly display. He might find his way onto a future renfaire costume of mine, if I ever get a chance to go to one!
